Me too. I've been handed so many gifts & cards today that I feel really ill. I haven't sent a card, bought a gift or thought about what food to buy for the day. Not for, like Christmas dinner & all that but just what to buy to survive the next few days when everything will be closed or so full I'll just drive through the parking lot & leave again. Ho ho ho indeed.
ho-ho-holy crap! ....is it really?! i have been so self-absorbed.... with my break-up, move from paradise to a 16 x 16 room across town, so broke i can't afford ramen noodles....how does my hair look? do i really have to date now!???!? miss you! peace, joy, friendship, and love - always, crazy dog lady who once visited camp chippawa xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo
I encourage others celebrate Festivus as an alternative holiday, ala Frank Costanza of Seinfeld - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Festivus. "The holiday includes novel practices such as the 'Airing of Grievances' in which each person tells everyone else all the ways they have disappointed him/her over the past year." Happy Festivus!
this pretty picture perfectly captures my imaginary life.
can you sense the very dry martini with 3 olives just out of frame? right next to the perfect platter with yummy snacks on it? is the music too loud?
