as some of you may remember,

on the 30th day of May in the year of our lord 1999,

i did one of the smartest, coolest things EVER in the history of me.

being married to this dude is easy peasy.
actually, what’s hard for me is me.
strangely, he doesn’t seem to feel that way at all.
can you even imagine?

husbands and acronyms

holden has been outside for approximately 90 seconds,

forgetting that it was his idea in the first place,

and that he spent 300 seconds forcing the issue.

ME: christ, we should take a picture of him like that, put some sappy music over it and ask people to send us money to help keep the flies out of his eyes.

HIM: no, because the next thing you know there’s a knock on the door from the NAACP and they’re taking him away.

our turtle heidi has discovered the huge ocean that is our pool.

she busts out of the pond and runs so fast to dive in that she

misses the pool rules sign, which clearly states NO TURTLES
